Frequently Asked Questions
How do Pixel computer glasses work?
Our glasses filter out the harsh blue light emitted by digital devices such as computers, smartphones, televisions, tablets, fluorescent lights, and LEDs. Our lenses allow your eyes to focus easier, reduce eye fatigue and eye strain, and improve contrast
Who should wear Pixel computer glasses?
Anyone who spends considerable time on a computer or digital device will benefit from wearing our computer glasses.
Why choose Pixel Eyewear?
We offer the clearest, most effective lens on the market. Other computer glasses are typically very yellow and have low transparency. Our glasses have a virtually clear lens and look just like a normal pair of glasses when you're wearing them. Our frames are built with cellulose acetate, the same material used by most high-end eyewear brands and our selection of vintage and classic styles will keep you looking sharp.
What is blue light?
Blue light is part of the visible light spectrum that packs the highest energy with the shortest wavelengths, emitted in large amounts by digital screens such as computers and smartphones. Similar to how UV light can damage our eyes and skin, overexposure to blue light can cause eye problems ranging from eyestrain, eye fatigue, blurred vision, dry eyes, and headaches. Blue light also regulates our circadian rhythm by influencing the production of melatonin in our body. Exposure to blue light at night time such as browsing on your phone or computer disrupts our sleep cycle, making it hard for us to fall asleep.

What makes Pixel lenses better?
We set out to design computer glasses that we would wear ourselves, so we only looked for the best - and we've found it. Our clear lenses filter out 50% of harsh blue light and up to 95% at the highest levels without distorting your color perception. Our lenses also eliminate glare and alleviate strain in your eyes, as well as incorporating a nanotechnology coating that keep your lenses clean and scratches free.
